Choice Properties For Game Farms

 This Game reserve is situated approximately 20 km East of Steytlerville and has the Groot River meandering through it offering excellent habitat for large herbivores and extensive Acacia thicket along the river banks.

The Reserve lies south of the Groot Rivierberg Mountains, and north of the Baviaanskloofberg Mountains. The Baviaans Kloof Mega Reserve which is a world heritage site is set to have a major influence in this area. Cockscomb (1758m) is the highest peak in the area.

The Reserve is at present approximately 4700ha of which 20% is Acacia thicket and 40% Nama Karoo plains and the balance being rolling hillocks with a variety of edible shrubs and trees - the majority being Jacket plum. The landscape is outstanding with very little or no agricultural scaring. The Reserve is well stocked with all the well known herbivores and is also registered for Buffalo. The long term view of the shareholders is to expand the Reserve to adjoin the Baviaans Kloof and introduce the Big Five.

There has been intensive research into this project and a thorough ecological and ground water study has been done to establish the sustainability for the possibility of the development of Game Lodges.

There is also a Cheetah and Hyena breeding and rehabilitation program which can also be expanded and is at present a good tourism draw card.

There is one large farm house, a small Lodge and an old hunting cottage on the property. The Reserve comprises of 3 Title Deeds.
